Imagine a world where the structure of every building has been increased because the original design was able to foresee weaknesses and help mitigate them.  When extreme events such as fires, earthquakes, and terrorist attacks can cause the partial or total collapse of a building, resisting and responding to catastrophic failures becomes of tremendous importance.

This is the world ASIF envisions and is working to make a reality. Through the scientific analysis of structures and the advanced training of emergency management officials, ASIF’s goal is to make responding to a situation, where the structural integrity of a building has been compromised, safer both for first responders and those trapped inside.
